Human Resources Manager (Atizapán, Mexico)
1. HR Leadership and Operational Setup
- Demonstrated experience in building or leading an HR function, preferably in a startup manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to develop and manage core HR processes, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
2. High-Volume Talent Acquisition
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-volume recruitment and full-cycle talent acquisition.
- Experience partnering with external recruiting agencies and internal stakeholders to meet aggressive hiring goals.
3. Labor Relations and Legal Compliance
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law, employment regulations, and HR legal compliance.
- Mandatory: Demonstrated experience in managing unionized environments, including union negotiations and collective agreements.
4. Performance Management and Culture Building
- Experience implementing and managing performance management systems and feedback-driven culture.
- Ability to coach leaders and employees on goal setting, career development, and employee engagement.
5. Policy Development and Internal Compliance
- Ability to develop localized HR policies that align with global standards and legal requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with workplace health and safety standards in Mexico.
6. Training and Development
- Proven ability to plan, deliver, or oversee onboarding and continuous learning
programs.
- Familiarity with identifying employee development needs and supporting learning initiatives.
7. HR Metrics and Data Reporting
- Experience tracking HR metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-hire, absenteeism) and using insights to inform HR strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS platforms for data management and reporting.
8. Technical and Systems Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with HR systems, payroll tools, and time & attendance platforms.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
9. Language and Communication
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across cultures and departments.
10. Adaptability and Independence
- Proven ability to work autonomously, handle multiple priorities, and make decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
