The Role
As the Aviation Risk & Insurance Lead, you will be responsible for managing and securing aviation insurance policies, financial lines, property coverage, and surety bonds.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance (required).
- Proficiency in English
- Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Available to travel.
- Available to work onsite in Santa Fe.
- Preferably, prior knowledge of insurance and bonds.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate, secure, and manage aviation and financial lines insurance policies, ensuring proper coverage validation, service level compliance, and claims performance to optimize policy outcomes and meet regulatory requirements.
- Lead negotiations with international brokers and insurance providers.
- Manage claims effectively, coordinating with internal stakeholders, adjusters, and legal teams to prepare claim files, quantify losses, review settlement adjustments, and recover damages.
- Review insurance and bond clauses in company contracts, recommending modifications when necessary to reduce financial exposure.
- Manage surety bond policies in compliance with current governmental regulations.
- Generate statistical reports to improve processes and decision-making.
