The Senior IT Business Analyst Foreign Trade/Customs will work in a diverse IT ecosystem (in-house developments to Cloud Services to SaaS apps), interacting with internal and external providers and applying broad range of technologies. As part of this role, you will be working in a dynamic, project-driven working environment, ensuring that you collaborate closely with experts to design, develop and implement new business requirements in the Foreign Trade / Customs area.
How you will make an impact
Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their functional requirements (focus Foreign Trade / Customs)
Transform requirements into IT system requirements / User Stories. Manage the backlog of User Stories and prioritize the backlog with all relevant stakeholders
Assume responsibility for the Implementation of User Stories within larger IT implementation projects or Change Requests
Support Service Manager by supervising IT operations and maintenance activities according to approved procedures & standards
Implement, design and document new and existing IT operational processes as well as perform individual coaching and trainings for business users
Ensure the performance and delivery of IT services to the users, irrespective of the number and nature of suppliers by coordinating delivery, integration, and interoperability across multiple IT services and suppliers
What you bring
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration
At least 5 years professional experience of shaping and managing business applications
Very good knowledge of main ITIL processes
A plus: knowledge of business processes in any of these areas: Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Master Data Management, Foreign Trade / Customs
Very good analytical skills
Strong skills in managing IT suppliers
Professional experience within multinational enterprises
Commitment to continuous learning and to global travel up to 30%.
Organizational talent and clear communication style, plus structured way of working
Attitude to work shows a high degree of independence as well as good customer orientation.
English is fluent, and you are confident in business communication in English (German is an asset but not a must-have).
