Location: CDMX
Modality: Hibrido (50%, 50%)
Mon to Fri at 8:30 to 18:30 hrs.
Overview
The position draft, review and negotiate supplier's contracts for its region. The Legal Coordinator provides legal advance and concrete action related to all legal matters, legal entities, contracts for suppliers within a specific Country market and corporate compliance.
Key Responsibilities
· Corporate Compliance
· Supervise the appropriate management of Corporate Books & Minutes of the Company.
· Control drafting of different Powers of Attorney, Public Deeds and Legal Certifications
· Control the Legal Archive of the Legal Department
· Supervise the coordination of transactions with local Notary Publics for the appropriate country market.
· Investigate and perform all Business Transactions before local authorities.
· Perform the drafting, reviewing & negotiation process of agreements for the appropriate country market.
· Elaborate advice to the appropriate departments regarding licenses, permits and authorizations from local authorities.
· Participate on a day-to-day basis in the department standard operating procedures and Policies in the appropriate country market.
· Collect notions of foreign legislation.
· Perform setup support and Incorporation support for (constitución) new Companies
· Participate with support of high-level litigation (for example INAI, Civil Lawsuits, Criminal Prosecution).
· Participate and support in acquisition (for example HTC, TP Costa Rica,
· Arrange and coordinate with Headquarters regarding reports, tools, day-to-day information requirements, database updates, internal audits and participating in monthly Group-Lawyers calls, among others)
· Perform support to prevent and/or revert close-downs (clausura de inmuebles) and seizure (embargo).
Education and specific training
- Bachelor Degree in Law, Master Degree is desired.
Work Experience
- 5 (five) years of prior experience in Corporate Law and Contracts.
- 3 years in highly-respected law firm or company or a notary public desired
- 5 years in contract negotiation call center prior experience desired.
- 3 years of prior experience in Corporative compliance

- Basic English Legal Terminology
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PPT)
Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat desired)
- Spanish
- English (high level) TOEFL 400 (paper-based)
