Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible to help the performing various accounting tasks, maintaining accurate general ledgers and journal entries, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
You will also be responsible for local and federal annual and monthly tax returns, preparing calculation backups, and delivering statements through government websites.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax and accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and tax reports.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Reconcile tax payable and receivable accounts to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
- Process journal entries transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of expenses, provisions, and accounting adjustments.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.

Experience and Education
- College degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance or taxes.
- Proficiency in computer software (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Experience with fiscal portals (SAT, RNIE, Anti-Money Laundering, etc.).
