Descripción

As a Perception Software Engineer, you will work with a team of talented software developers to expand and mature our kitchen automation system and cloud-connected infrastructure which power the robot. You will perform hard-core coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process. You will use your expertise in software engineering to own the design, prototype, and commercialization of core software. You will work closely with robotics specialists in controls, machine learning, and computer vision.

Requirements

BS or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, with a focus on Perception/Computer Vision
2+ years of industrial experience in camera calibration/synchronization, object pose estimation, classification, and tracking with traditional and deep-learning techniques
Proficiency in C++/Python, Linux/Docker environments, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with training and deploying ML models in AWS or GCP
Experience leading teams of developers through the release process
Strong foundational knowledge in mathematics, probability, and statistics as applied to
computer vision and perception
Experience in delivering a commercial product that relies heavily on computer vision
Proficiency with working in development environments that comprise of Linux, Docker, and Git
Self-motivated, responsible, and excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively as a remote team member
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to learn quickly
Collaborative team player with a drive to take initiative and ownership

Preferred Requirements

Proven experience with :

Optimizing perception algorithms to run on GPUs
Open-source libraries and SDKs such as OpenCV and NVIDIA Deepstream
Building or refining digital twins using sensor data
Ecient logging and uploading of high-bandwidth sensor data to the cloud
Deep learning for computer vision, pose estimation, and tracking
