As a Sr. HR Generalist, you will serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR and employee relations matters. This role is critical in driving operational HR excellence, supporting talent planning, and fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture. You will act as the first point of contact for low/medium complexity employee relations issues, coach managers on policy and performance, and collaborate with HR Business Partners to deliver impactful people strategies. This is a high-impact role ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, addressing day-to-day HR inquiries and employee relations needs.
- Drive core HR processes including but not limited to performance reviews, compensation planning, goal setting, job evaluations, and position management.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to support mid-level talent planning and provide coaching to people managers.
- Coordinate talent review preparation and ensure follow-through on development actions for middle managers.
- Provide policy guidance and coaching to managers, resolving low-risk escalations independently.
- Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, recommend interventions, and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and internal policies.
- Collaborate with specialist HR teams to implement and optimize programs that support business goals.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to HR projects of moderate complexity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or advisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases with professionalism and discretion.
- Proven experience coaching managers and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using Workday and HR analytics tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
