Respnsibilities :
Directs and controls activities at our subsidiary operation to accomplish budgeted financial objectives. Responsibility extends through all functions of the plant, including production, quality, engineering, human resources, materials and accounting. Plant will either be multi-product and/or complex in Manufacturing.
Activities:
- Formulates and recommends both short- and long-term strategic objectives aligned with corporate directives.
- Oversees coordination between subsidiary operations and relevant corporate departments to ensure seamless integration.
- Facilitates effective communication across functional areas to promote organizational alignment and operational efficiency.
- Reviews organizational structures and staffing plans to confirm adequacy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Manages plant operations in accordance with company standards related to quality, employee relations, customer service, safety, and security.
- Analyzes production forecasts, identifies resource requirements, and issues directives to optimize output and efficiency.
- Provides employee support through grievance resolution and personal counseling, while ensuring transparent communication of policies and procedural updates.
- Assists in the implementation and oversight of compensation and personnel policy programs.
- Continuously monitors plant performance and initiates proactive measures to maximize profitability.
- Cultivates strong communication and collaboration with internal teams, external partners, customers, community stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintains constructive labor-management relations to foster a stable and productive work environment.
- Engages with customers to address operational procedures and provide updates on programs, projects, and plant activities relevant to their needs.
- Interprets financial and operational reports—including profit/loss statements and performance metrics—to ensure targets are met.
- Develops and manages schedules, forecasts, and budgets for plant resources, equipment, supplies, facilities, and promotional activities.
- Supports the approval process for capital expenditures, payroll budgets, and financial allocations to ensure strategic investment and productivity balance.
- Promotes leadership development and ensures effective management succession planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in scientific field
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Experience in High Volume and Large operations
- Experiancie in Metalworking processes (Stamping, Machining, Punching, Bending, etc.)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
