Project Manager – Energy Sector

We are seeking a Project Manager with junior to mid-level experience in renewable and/or conventional energy projects. This position, based in La Paz, BCS, México offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact energy initiatives within an international and fast-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with lead engineers and company leadership to develop customized solutions for client projects.
• Manage the full project lifecycle—from initial planning to final delivery—ensuring schedules, budgets, and resources are effectively aligned.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, electrical, and design engineers, based on project requirements.
• Support engineering teams by balancing workloads and aligning resources with project demands.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, milestones, and potential challenges.
• Lead and coordinate follow-up meetings to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
• Maintain ongoing communication with administrative and accounting teams, including coordination of invoices and financial documentation.
• Generate progress reports and summaries of deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal tools, workflows, and processes.
• Lead regular project meetings to review status, changes, and next steps.
• Keep project tracking systems and reporting platforms updated with current status and relevant data.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience interfacing with clients and supporting their objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Skilled in managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with electrical, energy projects.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable presenting to and working with interdisciplinary teams.
• Experienced in writing proposals, managing timelines and budgets, handling change orders, generating progress reports, and communicating project requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
• Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to supporting engineering teams.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• BS in in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Industrial or other Related Engineering or other technical Bachelors from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two years relevant work experience including Project Management or in a related field.
