Descripción

We are hiring a Transportation Logistics Supervisor to be responsible for implementing the Operations Strategy, managing team development and performance, overseeing customer service activities, and leading continuous improvement efforts within the department.


What You Will Be Doing:


  • Responsible for leading various processes within the Logistics Department, including:
  • Order Control
  • Logistics Analytics
  • Inbound and Outbound Planning, and oversight of the night shift.
  • Own and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, such as on-time delivery, freight cost efficiency, order accuracy, and team productivity—using data to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with other departments (e.g., Planning, Quality, Customer Service) to proactively resolve logistics challenges and maintain service level expectations.
  • Supports higher levels of leadership with setting Strategies for the Operations Department.
  • Ensures that the Operations Strategy is not only well understood by their team's, but also applied on them to ensure the accomplish the business goals.
  • Responsible for effectively leading a Departmental Project.
  • Provides individual and team coaching to encourage self-directed & empowered working teams.
  • Responsible for developing high potential employees into the next level of their careers.
  • Responsible for assigning and monitoring the capacity of their teams.
  • Participates and leads the development of standards and measures for continuous improvement of current processes.
  • Responsible for the development of department employees by mentoring, as well as formal performance evaluations and salary administration.
  • Manages customer service activities necessary to ensure dealer communications, coordination and account management are accomplished in accordance with established standards.
  • Responsible for the interviewing and selection processes for openings within the Operations Department.



Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience and knowledge in logistics operations and processes, supply chain management, inventory control, transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience in coordinating shipments, managing inventory levels, and optimizing logistics workflows would be valuable is a must.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous leadership experience.
  • Advanced English is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles, process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong LEAN and CI background applied in projects that led to team's efficiencies and success.
  • Availability to travel. A valid United States visa is required, as the position involves traveling.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.
