Axiem International is a company dedicated to providing integrated Personnel Management services for projects specialising in Engineering, Design and Quality, innovating in the sense of taking an idea from the beginning of the process to its "start-up in plant and production.
We are looking for a
Product Designer
Review the work of the Design department. Propose and approve design changes that result in savings in production time and/or material. in production and/or material lead times. Work with other design groups to assist in product development.

Requirements
Academical Background: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electromechanics.
Fluent in english (Advanced level)
Experience:
- Experience in mechanical design.
- Experience in design with Creo.
- Work experience with sheet metal design.
- Experience with GDT
- Ability to interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings.
- Experience in Electrical Equipment (Low Voltage) desirable.
- Experience with bills of materials (BOM), engineering change orders (ECO) and GDT.
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Strong ability to interact with engineering and design staff.
Functions:
- Make and approve design changes
- Make changes to Bills of Materials
- Write ECR/ECO
- Able to facilitate interaction between Manufacturing and Design Departments
- Attend meetings with the Customer and Team Leader
Monday to Friday: From 7am to 4:30pm
Hybrid position (1-2 days per week)
Site: Located in Apodaca, Nuevo Léon.
