We are looking for detail-oriented TakeOff Specialists to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate assessments of project materials and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret civil engineering plan sets.
Identify the scope for concrete and masonry work.
Perform material take-offs using Square Takeoff or similar software.
Review municipal codes and standards for accurate specification selection.
Collaborate with estimators to discuss takeoff quantities and project challenges
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of project requirements to determine accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals based on project specifications and client requirements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather necessary information and insights for precise estimation and seamless project execution.
Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle, tracking expenses, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving measures whenever possible.
Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, bids, contracts, and other project-related documentation.
Engage with clients to discuss project requirements, clarify inquiries, and address concerns, maintaining a professional and customer-centric approach at all times.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in take-offs and estimations within the construction industry.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Square Takeoff).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
Understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
