MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure process efficiency, product quality, and control of raw materials and finished products within the production area.

• Ensure timely compliance with the production plan.

• Prepare production reports, inventory, and report problems in the area.

• Ensure proper use of machinery and equipment.

• Monitor and maintain discipline and adherence to operating standards on assigned lines.

• Ensure compliance with and adherence to quality standards.

• Maintain and enforce proper adherence to the 5Ss.

• Properly escalate issues related to safety, productivity, and/or product quality.

• Participate in the development of new projects on the production floor.

• Participate in the preparation of FMEAs, Process Sheets, Control Plans, and work instructions, as well as ensure the proper preservation of documents on the production floor.

• Update and maintain daily production and process information (dashboards).

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize production processes.

• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all occupational health and safety regulations.

• Actively participate in solving problems related to safety, quality, and productivity on assigned lines.

• Actively participate in operator training.

• Ensure proper handling and control of materials on assigned lines.

• Conduct cyclical inventories according to the inventory schedule.

• Ensure the proper disposal of non-conforming product generated on assigned production lines, ensuring that the material does not remain in WIP.

• Ensure that personnel are familiar with and manage the technical instructions for hazardous materials.

• Be part of the emergency brigade (Desirable)

• Identify significant environmental aspects of the area.

• Address issues related to the personnel under their charge in conjunction with Human Resources.
