Job Summary

Our Future Talent Program - Technical Track is an 18- month program that will develop your manufacturing engineering skills in an accelerated process to become leading technical experts. Our company is committed to investing in developing capabilities, ensuring we have the people, processes and tools that are critical to achieving our strategy. From day one you will be delivering results as a true team member following a structured development plan that is specifically designed for you and your position to grow into a future role. The plan will include a collaboration in different projects and activities within your own department as well as formal training and mentorship. Work and meet with colleagues from all over the world and develop a network of future engineers. This program will give you broad insight to the company, our culture and values. After the program ends you will have gained great experiences to help continue your exciting career within our company.

The program starts on January 22nd, 2023.
You may will be travelling 10 % of your time to our suppliers' plants.

What you will do

As a Future Talent Mechanical Engineer:

• You provide your manufacturing engineering knowledge to the facility. With your excellent problem solving and communication skills, you are responsible for the standard work implementation based on five conditions to zero defects. The main responsibility will be to continually improve production equipment, tools, fixtures, and processes.
• You will be in close communication with shopfloor.
• Develop document manufacturing processes: flowcharts, designs, work instructions, tools, and accessory drawings.
• Introduction of new products based on process transfer & product validation methodologies.
• Design fixtures based on Poka Yoke methodology through CAD models.
• Troubleshoot production issues; assist &or direct maintenance issues on the manufacturing floor related to design to order production system.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Production, Accounting, Planning, etc.)

We believe you have

• Recently completed your studies in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial), and you are interested in taking your career to the next level these opportunities are for you.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• CAD 3D modeling skills is a must.
• Basic knowledge about machine tools.
• Basic knowledge on tig welding desirable.
• Have availability to travel 10% of the time.
• Availability to work full-time from January 22nd, 2024, on.
