As our Material Management Coordinator you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating the logistics of materials, and maintaining accurate records of all materials. Also, you will be responsible for the efficient organization, storage, and control of material resources to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of materials to support operations.
This job requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Material Management Coordinator will work closely with other departments to ensure that materials are available when needed and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor inventory levels and determine when materials need to be replenished.
· Place orders with vendors and suppliers for necessary materials and supplies.
· Create and maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
· Coordinate the delivery of materials to the appropriate workstations, departments, or storage areas.
· Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
· Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available when needed for projects.
· Manage scrap materials and dispose of them in accordance with company policies and regulations.
· Monitor and report on inventory levels, usage, and trends to management.
What do you need to be successful?
· Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, analysis, and management processes, including tracking entries and exits.
· Experience in process auditing related to material management.
· Strong skills in raw material analysis.
· Proven ability to automate processes, including implementation, standardization, and continuous improvements.
· Proficiency in Excel, especially with pivot tables.
· Hands-on experience with SAP for inventory and material management.
· Advanced level of English.
· Availability to travel within the country approximately once a month.
· Nice to Have: Experience working on layout or space optimization projects.
