Position objetive:
•Coordinate and oversee the materials supply chain, ensuring timely availability through efficient inventory, warehouse, and logistics management. Implement tools and methodologies focused on continuous improvement, error reduction, and resource optimization, in compliance with safety, quality, and service standards. Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational goals aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
•Professional degree
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in the position.
•Knowledge: Production processes, materials acquisition with emphasis on Lean Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Flow, PFEP, Pull Systems, MRP systems, management of multiple warehouses, Inventory Control, warehouse layout and physical organization, design and execution of cycle counting programs, inventory analysis, variances and adjustments, use of tools such as FIFO, FEFO, LIFO, coordination of receiving and shipping, management of internal routes, material flows and loading/unloading times, logistics documentation, warehouse safety regulations, global inventory and daily operations oversight, implementation of improvements in warehousing and logistics processes, inventory error reduction and space optimization, support, negotiation, and service to other departments (purchasing, production, quality, safety), and preparation of effective reports.
•Advanced English.
•Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
•Courses or certifications in logistics, warehousing, safety, or ERP systems (preferred).
•Skills: Effective delegation and clear communication, ability to prioritize tasks across warehouses, decision-making under pressure, root cause analysis, and solution proposal.
