Project Implementation Manager

Location: Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico

About the Role:

As the Project Implementation Manager, you will lead and drive the successful installation and rollout of mobile broadband (MBB) infrastructure in Region 8. You'll be the primary owner of installation targets, ensure quality and timeliness, and coordinate across internal and external teams to put sites on air with minimal issues.

What you will do:

• Own the installation target for assigned projects: manage integration monthly targets, support installations, and drive “Put on Air” activities.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support to Site Engineers and subcontractors during installation and commissioning.
• Serve as the primary liaison with customers—ensure timely delivery, clear communication, and alignment on expectations.
• Participate in quality control reviews for all site engineers; collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure installations are completed on time and to standard.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed plans for partner teams, site engineers, and material supply to ensure smooth and predictable site delivery.
• Produce and deliver daily progress reports, highlighting site issues, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Monitor resource efficiency across site engineers and partner teams, identifying gaps and proposing continuous improvement plans.
• Manage key personnel interfaces, cost, schedule, and quality aspects of the implementation lifecycle.

What we are looking for:

• Solid project management capabilities: planning, communication, time management, stakeholder/key person management, cost control, and quality management.
• Familiarity with major MBB vendors and solutions, including Telcel, AT&T, and TEMM.
• Experience driving installation targets and managing regional implementation efforts.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (site engineers, partners, suppliers) and ensure resource efficiency.
• Certificate or formal education in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in the telecommunications field, with practical understanding of MBB solutions and delivery processes.
• Conversational English.
