Lead Java Developer

The Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in our application development project aimed at automating the clinical workflow of kidney transplant patients' bloodwork. This role involves building our the system architecture and ensuring that it aligns with the business requirements and the technical constraints. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the Technical Analyst to understand the technical requirements of the project.
• Execute the design of the overall system architecture of the application.
• Ensure that the design meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work closely with the UI/UX Designer to ensure that the design supports an optimal user experience.
• Make key decisions on the selection of technologies and frameworks.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the application.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any architectural issues.
• Communicate the detailed design to stakeholders and the development team.

Must Have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead with hands on experience.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and platforms. (AKS, ALB, Entra ID Roles, Security)
• Experience with single sign on and overall security needs
• Building web responsive applications with react/react native
• Rest API Development using Java/Spring Boot
• Experience building docker based applications.
• Experience with basic relational database design and schema definition.

Nice To have:

• Experience in healthcare technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Epic FHIR Api's
• Knowledge of integrating security products like Azure AD/Entra ID or OKTA
• Some knowledge of QA automation technologies
• Some DevOps experience is a plus
• Some experience with BI tooling like Microsoft PowerBI
