SHADOW TEACHER – EXPECTATIONS – GREENGATES SCHOOL
As Shadow Teacher your main responsibility is to assist a student with special needs in a classroom setting and work closely with the classroom teacher to provide one-on-one support to the student with learning disabilities, behavioural issues, or other special needs for helping him succeed.
Reporting to
- Team Coordinator & Year Group Teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to student(s) with special needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and assignments.
- Help student(s) develop social skills and positive behaviours.
- Communicate regularly with the classroom teacher.

- Participating in special events when required e.g. Residentials, International Fair, Posada & Concerts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Experience working with children with special needs, at least one year.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Contract
- We are offering a contrato de servicios profesionales, with monthly payments based on the number of actual working days in the school.
