Primary Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for providing order fulfillment services to our customers. The primary responsibilities are to receive customer orders and changes, input them to the ERP system and tender the orders to transportation providers to complete delivery. Critical thinking and problem solving will be a crucial part of this job role.
Essential Functions (> 10% time spent on these duties):
- Receive and review customer orders, change orders for finished goods to the ERP system.
- Ensure customers adhere to order guidelines and proactively recommend order management and process improvements to customers.
- Understand and take appropriate action to manage cost impact of order violations, order expedites and other actions taken to deliver service.
- Work with external and internal business partners to resolve customer ordering issues through EDI or Salesforce in timely manner.
- Interact with customers, communicating to and resolving issues around fulfilling their orders and negotiating alternative plans for delivery.
- Coordinate credit orders and customer reimbursement.
- Prepare export documents as required to support international shipments.
- Track customer shipments at the request of the customer as required.
- Assist in monitoring shipping schedules at distribution centers.
- Monitor cash in advance (CiA) customer payment receipts and notifies production control manager of cash receipt triggering authorization to produce product.
- Maintain business data to support customer order fulfillment in the ERP system.
- Support Manager, Customer Order Fulfillment as required.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
- While the regular working cycle of this position is usually five days on (Monday-Friday), this job may include working weekends (Saturday and Sunday); working hours may vary as specified by management. Incumbent must be able to work overtime on a regular basis and/or be on call as directed by management.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required between the assigned start and end times of work.
- Assure and maintain safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.

- Communication. Ability to communicate effectively, writes effectively, read, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to meet the knowledge, skills, abilities, physical requirements, and working conditions set forth in this position description and on the attached Physical Demands Assessment.

- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through high school, college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience
- Job related experience for 3 year(s) minimum
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
- Must act professionally and with integrity
- Should have previous order fulfillment role experience
