? Manages the Purchase Orders by Planning Material Requirements using an MRP II System, Executing the Action Plans that are suggested.
? Maintains the Material Requirement Plans by means of the On time Update of Records of every Part Number under their Responsibility in the MRP software currently used by the Company.
? Performs Follow-ups to the Purchasing Orders sent to External Suppliers to meet the Quantity, Cost and Delivery Time Requirements.
? Coordinates with Planners to maintain Materials plans, which synchronize the Plant's Global Material Flow.
? Analyzes Proposals from Suppliers, Analyzes Prices and formulates Purchase (P.O.'s) or Work (W.O.'s) Orders.
? Performs Follow-ups, Identifies reductions and increases in prices, Evaluates Suppliers,and Develops initial contacts with new Suppliers according to the requirements. Requesting samples for testing, sampling incoming materials, Vendor Rating Programs, Vendor Certification, etc.
? Can perform the Initial Contacts for New Products and can Participate in the Negotiation Process. Can negotiate with the Supplier in Special Cases.
? Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the Purchasing Function.
? Responsible for shipping finished product to USA Warehouse.
? Professional Degree or Equivalent
? Experience: 3 to 5 Years within an MRP environment in Inventory Control and in Purchasing.
? English Level: Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow fluid
Presentations and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes).
? Intermediate/Basic (Use of OFFICE: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.) or Application Programs.
? MRP system skills
? Experience with shipping and logistics.
? Valid US VISA is a must.
