As a Payroll Supervisor at Ruhrpumpen you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll operations, primarily for the U.S. and Argentina, to later overseeing other international payrolls within the Shared Services Center. This role combines hands-on payroll execution with leadership responsibilities, including team supervision, process standardization, and support for system stabilization and future payroll integrations.
Main Responsibilities:
· Process U.S. employee payroll accurately and on time, according to the established pay frequency (bi-weekly) and offcycle payrolls.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to taxes and mandatory benefits, as well as manage state agency notices in coordination with ADP.
· Review mandatory deductions, including:
- Federal and state taxes (Social Security, Medicare, Federal/State Withholding)
- Contributions to 401(k) plans.
· Prepare and submit payroll reports to Human Resources and Finance at the end of each pay cycle.
· Prepare and file quarterly and annual (W2) tax forms through ADP.
· Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors (ADP, SAP, TI) to ensure accurate data integration and regulatory compliance.
· Manage payroll-related issues such as missing payments, corrections, garnishments, retroactive adjustments, etc.
· Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and proof of tax and labor compliance.
· Provide support and clarification to employees through the Human Resources team.
· Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting U.S. payroll and apply necessary updates to processes or systems.
Requirements:
3+ years minimum experience in payroll.
Knowledge in SAP -Employee Central Payroll (ECP) - Preferred
Fluent in English language.
Payroll accountant.
